Winter Photographs

Images of Winter





Yes, It' still winter and I thought you might enjoy some photos from one of the many storms we've had already this winter.

This is taken from the front door, looking east. The trees were so pretty all covered in ice. I was trying to capture how the tree encased with ice glittered in the sun. Unfortunately, my pictures just don't do mother nature justice!




Here is a side view of the library.
Even in the austere greyness of winter,
the building still emerges from the hill as a pillar of learning!





Finally, the "mushroom tree" picture. This is the large fir tree directly across the street from the library. As you can tell, it was heavily laden with ice. It reminds me of the morel variety of mushrooms.
